My heart was beating, ringing loudly in my ears;
I never heard a single word, I was lost within the years.

Beating down upon the sand, reddish orange in hue.

I stood upon that rock and watched the landscape change,
Endless waves of golden brown, forever rearranged.
And I watched the sun in the sky above sink lower in the west,
Casting shadows all around, reddish orange and blue.
